Review:  Conor had been straight until seven years ago when he met marine biologist Liam that changed his life drastically. His father disowned him and people talked about him. Conor hadn't been with anyone since. Then after a beached whale dies after all attempts Conor did to save him, a marine biologist and his team comes to do a documentary on the whale. Conor isn't pleased that they are turning his beach into a circus and dissecting the whale on TV. When he meets Eli things only get worse. Eli makes it well known he is interested in Conor, no matter what Connor does to discourage him .Conor is bound and determined he won’t  be hurt again like Liam hurt him. Will Eli break through that wall of resistance? I’m not telling you will have to read it yourself.
Beached hearts is a real romantic roller-coaster ride. I loved Eli. He is a man that knows what he wants and goes after it relentlessly. Conor was immediately attracted to Eli, but knew that he would be leaving in a week or so and was not interested in a one week romance no matter how attractive Eli is. The tension is fabulous. Then all of a sudden Liam falls back into the picture and causes more twists and turns. Then you think you’re around the bend ready for more and boom it ends. One word of warning, bring along some tissues.
I recommend this book to any one that loves, men in uniforms, smart sexy marine biologists, animals, beaches, Ireland, a love that isn't easy, Scarlet Blackwell, and hot sexy mansex. If you like good contemporary romance this is a must read!
