Blurb:  Derek and Blake have an understanding -- they can hook up with whoever they want, but they always came back to one another. So Derek is doing exactly that while in town for his cousin's wedding. A family gathering, a quick lay, and he'll be back in Blake's arms in a few days.

What Derek doesn't expect is for some clingy guy to actas if Derek's his last, best hope.

Leonard throws the best parties around, and he has killer dope, but he's more than a great host. He's a lonely man who has to buy friends. When he offers Derek a future on a horse ranch in Florida, Derek thinks he's kidding. But he soon learns Leonard never kids. When their casual encounter takes a turn for the worst, Derek wants to forget Leonard even exists.

What happens when a man who can't take no for an answer comes up against a guy who doesn't want any strings tying him down?

Review: Derek met Doug online and since he had to attend his cousin’s wedding in the town Doug lived in he decides to meet Doug.  He is in an open relationship with Blake, but still looking for more and the lure of sex and drugs is too much for him.  At a party Doug takes him to he meets the owner of the house Leonard that wants him to go away with him to Florida and live.
I found this a very poignant sad story of loneliness. Though Leonard had  a big house and big parties and good drugs he was a very lonely man.  I goes to show us that we all search for something and need something in our lives that on the surface seems we have it all.. A lovely thought provoking story.
Recommendations: If you like a more serious story  of drugs, promiscuous sex, open relationships, and angst this one is for you.
