Purging Matthew is the first book in the Ripples series.

Matt has never had it so good. He's living with Jake, his long term lover and best friend, he finally has his dream job, he has loving friends and a supportive family and he lives in a beautiful home. He has it all until one day it all comes crashing down about his ears when Jake dies tragically.

Matt has to learn to live again, a fete he finds very hard to manage without the help of his sister, Suzi, and Jake's best friend, Ben. Without these two cherished people, and his two best friends, Matt would never have made it through.

Three years later Matt has to go back to the place where Jake died and relive it all again as he struggles, once more, to get through the wrongful death case in Spain. As a result he meets a wonderful man named Ryan. Ryan's carefree approach to life and love restarts Matt's broken heart and makes him see that life is, indeed, still worth living.

Matt's journey to love is rife with obstacles and tears, laughter and sadness, but he has his closest friends, and his sister, behind him every step of the way.

Will Matt finally find true love again with Ryan or will he open his eyes and see the love that has always been patiently waiting in the shadowy recesses of his life? And will he find the strength to be the man Jake always knew he was capable of being?

This book contains sadness and joy, death and rebirth. There is also lots of lovely man on man sex play, loving, sexual intercourse/anal play and other sexual activities which are very deliciously enjoyable. And there's not a single warm wash cloth is sight.

After her longtime boyfriend dumps her, Kristy craves a change in her life. Her best friend, Sherry, is into the BDSM scene, and on a whim and a bet, Kristy finds herself in the playroom at an exclusive club. A disguised Dom named Master Jay uses sensation play and a piece of silk to help her discover the world of kink. She finds it enjoyable and addictive, but what she doesn't know is that Master Jay is really Jake, a much younger man to whom she's strongly attracted.
For the past couple of years, Jake quietly watched Kristy in his gym. He doesn't care that she’s older than him; he wants her. When the virgin BDSM sub he’s hired to train ends up being Kristy, Jake almost falls apart. During the scene they play at the club, he fantasizes about getting her into restraints in his own playroom. But Kristy is shocked when she learns that the two men she desires are one and the same. Can Kristy who’s led a vanilla sex life, and Jake, who knows nothing but kink, find a future together?

Reviewer: Cat
Review: Kristy finds her life upside down when he live in boyfriend tells her he has found someone else.  He expects her to find a new place to live but she decides to stay there until she finds something appropriate. Her friend Sherry is in the D’s lifestyle and Kristy feels she is pushing it down her throat.  She thinks she is vanilla and has no desire of changing. Or does she? Bring in hottie gym owner/ personal trainer Jake.  He seems to show interest in her and Sherry has tried to get her to pay him attention but she feels he is way too young.
This story has a lot going on as you see and I barely touched the tip of the iceberg. It is faced paced and never leaves you feeling overwhelmed by all of it though.  I loved the way Kristy not only was struggling with a new life, but the age thing, and her friend Sherry’s new lifestyle. There is lots of twists and turns and a lot of very hot sex. If you have been thinking about reading a book with some D’s or Bdsm this one is a great place to start.
I recommend this to anyone that likes very hot, erotic, contemporary romance, May/December relationships, Cougar, D’s and BDSM.

After an asteroid strikes Earth, a series of violent earthquakes destroy secluded Phoenix and leave survivor Elliot struggling to stay focused in the bleak aftermath. And then he meets fellow survivor Adam. Together, the two search for reliable shelter and other survivors while distant murky clouds fast approach. Their hunt for shelter leads them down an alternate path when they find spray painted symbols directing them to a mysterious place: Refuge Inc.

As ominous clouds slowly shut off all light to their devastated world, they are forced to come to terms with their pasts and their growing attraction for each other.

Neither thought their pasts and personal crises would affect their ability to endure the horrors they're forced to live through. Neither thought they would be drawn so close to one another in the aftermath of an unimaginable catastrophe. By working together, can they continue to survive? Or will the mystery of Refuge Inc. cause diverse expectations and lead them to decisions that further threaten their lives?

WARNING: Contains explicit male-male sexual practices, graphic language, some violence and brief descriptions of the dead.

Review   After a comet was suppose to hit  earth and after all the  earthquakes, both Elliott and Adam thought they were the last survivors on earth until they met. Adam is straight ( or is he) and Elliott  is a very out gay man.  Is there more survivor? How will they get food?  How will they survive? What is Adams secret?
This was a very exiting story about the end times. Really leaves you wonder if this could be how it will be at the end.  The story keeps you wondering what will happen next what the world stuff the aftershocks and the men. It also make ya wonder what refuge Inc. is and  then at the end  you still wonder.. yeah i will definitely have to have the next book but where is it? LOL.
I recommend these book if you like sci-fi especially post-apocalyptic stories, hot mansex, movies or books like earthquake. It’s a great story that is  quite different than any I have read before.

Carrick Francis has spent most of his life jumping into trouble with both feet. The only thing saving him from prison or worse is his absolute devotion to Deacon Winters. Deacon was Crick's sanity and salvation during a miserable, abusive childhood, and Crick would do anything to stay with him forever. So when Deacon's father dies, Crick puts his college plans on hold to help Deacon as Deacon has helped him.

Deacon's greatest wish is to see Crick escape his memories and the town they grew up in so Crick can enjoy a shining future. But after two years of growing feelings and temptation, the painfully shy Deacon finally succumbs to Crick's determined advances and admits he sees himself as part of Crick's life.

It nearly destroys Deacon when he discovers Crick has been waiting for him to push him away, just like Crick's family did in the past. When Crick's knack for volatile decisions lands him far away from home, Deacon is left, shell-shocked and alone, struggling to reforge his heart in a world where love with Crick is a promise, but by no means a certainty.

Review:
Keeping Promise rock starts out with a bang. Literally. The story starts in Iraq then goes back to when Crick first met Deacon and why. The story encompasses both men’s lives in a very sweet interesting way. This book is also well written and formatted and so easy to read with chapters separated with catchy chapter titles that pull you into the next chapter like magnets. No page numbers or author names in the middle of the page like in most eBooks s I have read.
Crick met Deacon when he was eight and was immediately stricken; Deacon is several years older but was drawn to Crick immediately. Deacon and his father took in lots of young boys as muckrakers   on the ranch and helped them to have better lives. Crick was special to both Deacon and his father.  Crick new in his teen years that he was gay and that deacon was the one for him, even though he though Deacon was straight he was happy to have a deep relationship together.
This is such a beautifully written story of a love that can survive anything and boy is there lots of obstacles in the way here.  Once you pick this book up be prepared, you won’t want to put it down. There are twists and turns on every page. You will laugh and cry and sigh. A lot.
I recommend this story if you like lots of characters, including, Soldiers, cowboys (ranchers) EMT’s and young children having to grow up fast. If you like drama, twists and turns, enduring love, and just a darn good story I highly recommend this one. Grab some tissues, cocoa and your cuddly blanket and settle down for a great book!

Review for Masters at Arms

Masters at Arms is an introduction to the Rescue Me series, which needs to be read first. The book begins the journey of three men, each on a quest for honor, acceptance, and to ease his unspoken pain. Their paths cross at one of the darkest points in their lives. As they try to come to terms with the aftermath of Iraq--forging an unbreakable bond--they band together to start their own BDSM club. But will they ever truly become masters of their own fates? Or would fate become masters of them? (Book One in the Rescue Me series.)

NOTE FROM AUTHOR: This is an introduction to the erotic-romance series RESCUE ME. The Happily Ever After endings and much hotter scenes come in the following Romance novels. The characters can't be contained to a single book, so you need to read the books in order to follow the men in their romances. (The author doesn't rehash what has come before in the series and the books are not stand-alone novels. The characters continue to work on their relationships even after their happy endings, so you'll get to see them again in more than cameo appearances.)

CONTENT WARNING: There are some intense themes in this book, including surviving the death of a spouse, dealing with the horrors of incest and being tortured as a sex slave, and dealing with the aftermath of war (including a wounded warrior with PTSD and an amputation injury). These are the sometimes ugly details of their pasts but are told in real time to help readers appreciate how far the characters have come as the series progresses.

Reviewer: Cat
Review: this book was amazing. It deals with several characters and tells of their past and the traumas they have and are enduring. Some very strong, emotional scenes. This book introduces the main characters very vividly and makes you long for the next book! There is some explicit scenes from the war, the bondage, and others. It clearing shows the bonding and friendships and even some secrets forming.  I just loved it!
I recommend this to anyone that likes, survivors of war, bondage, D’s, deeply rooted emotions, and strong characters.

Blinded by treachery, Katee Alice O’Shea is thrown into the fire and thought of as nothing more than Katherine Stone’s bitch. Katee isn’t anyone’s bitch calling in her chips only to find out the whole thing was a lie. Determined to solve the case and tip the scales of justice in her favor, Katee puts everything on the line, striking back against those who tried to destroy her.

Reviewer:  Cat
Review Venom is the sequel to the Pen Pal. You don't actually have to read The Pen Pal to rad Venom since it's not a continuation of story, just the Character Katee O'Shea. Katee comes to America in this one to help apprehend a serial killer. She is a profiler, a forensic Dr. and the Daughter of a serial killer.
I really liked this story. It wasn't as creepy as Pen pal but it had more mystery and intrigue. There were twists a plenty and just when you thought you knew something happened and you were shocked. I also love Katee's wit .
If you like a very strong Alpha female lead, a good intriguing mystery with a wry sense of humor. Give this one a try. I think you may like it.

Review for The Pen Pal

Title The Pen Pal
Author: Richard Banegas
Genre: Mystery/ thriller/ suspense
Length: Novella
Heat: None
Hearts: 4
Blurb:
He began with a humble existence and ended his life with blood on his hands. Here begins the story of Shaymus O'Shea, son, father, husband, and murderer, told through his eyes. His victims, shown no mercy, wait for justice, while his own daughter, Federal Agent, Katee Alice O'Shea, pursues the man known as the Deer Hunter, unaware she hunts her own father.

Review: If you like murder mysteries, but not all the gruesomeness and gore associated with one, this is a good choice.
I like an occasional mystery set in the real world once in a while for a break from all the usual paranormal I love.

The book starts out like a horse race. Right out of the gate, the story starts with a man dying from a bullet wound. You find out right away this is the main character. Then the story slows to a gentle gait recanting the story of Shaymus O'Shea's life. It takes us into the mind of a very disturbed young man.
The pace picks up again as Shaymus gets older and shows more hate and hurt and things start happening. What kind of things? I can’t tell you, I would give away too much story. Sorry but you will have to read it.
About halfway through, the book changes. It goes to tell the story of Shaymus' daughter Katee.

Katee's story opens up with her being fourteen and writing in her journal.
This is my favorite part of the entire book. Worth buying for just this part.
She starts by saying if she were a baby this is what she would have to say about how her life started.
I am gonna steal a line from the book, Richard I hope you don’t mind.
------I was born into this world as Katee Alice O'Shea on December 25th 1950, naked, cold and hungry, screaming at the top of my lungs, feeling someone spank me.
It quickly turned me over and I saw the most hideous face staring at me. Frightened I bawled some more. ---
This was absolutely hilarious. I laughed so hard. It goes on until she gets to her current age. Shows how she gets tough and all. I just loved it. So much I read this part twice already! Ingenious!

So we are nearing the finish line with Katee a forensic scientist, trying to solve some cold case murders. She meets her Pen pal, he is a profiler. I won’t say anymore, except read this one!

Reviewer: Cat

Review: Will’s girlfriend dies and his partner Tyler finds comforting him too much to keep his real feelings from showing. The drinking and partying with other women together is just too much. Does he make a move on Will? Does Will reciprocate? How does it affect their job?  I’m not telling you will have to get the book.
I liked the story a lot. I did however get confuse with the dates in the headings.  Sometimes I felt like it went back and forth or skipped around and would get lost and have to read a bit. But it didn’t affect the overall story. I loved the hard raw sex, and the angst both Will and Tyler shown.
I recommend this to anyone that like Detectives, Bisexual men, mystery and intrigue, and raw hot mansex.

Review: Levi a young vampire is obsessed by Jared. He stalks him and takes his blood > Jared is in love with his best friend Jordan and finds out it is mutual. But can Jared get free of Levi? Will Levi hurt Jordan if he finds out about him? You must read it and see.
Levi is definitely not a sparkly vampire. He is sexy but dangerous. I liked this book with its darkness. You could feel the angst in both Levi and Jared. The twists and turns were intriguing.
I recommend this If you like vampires, obsession, and hot mansex
